Consultations Polish-Brithish pilotage project with Hammersmith&Fulham representatives
the EuroMI team met with the representatives of Hammersmith &
Fulham local authorities and an organisation working in this borough, the Broadway Project. We agreed that the Barka Foundation will be a partner in their pilot project. We will engage people who experienced social exclusion themselves and are now responsible for the animation of communities, self-educational groups, associations, foundations and social cooperatives within the Barka Consortium. These people will work in London as streetworkers and run support groups for the people who were not successful. Their task will be to motivate the people who had difficult experiences in the process of migration. The people who decide to come back to Poland will be directed to relevant programmes in their homecountry.
