Barka representatives at a H&F strategic meeting
Barka Foundation representatives have been invited to a Hammersmith and Fulham strategic meeting on the 26th of June 2007. The meeting will take place at 2pm in the Hammersmith Town Hall. We present the meeting's agenda as well as the agenda of the previous strategic meeting organised in April. 

EuroMi development in Great Britain
We present the EuroMi coordinator correspondence from London.  

Study visit in London
Lidia Wesierska and Zbigniew Galor from the Civic Institute for Monitoring and Recommendation have left today on the 24th of June 2007 to London. We present a detailed plan of their study visit.  

EuroMI London
Lidia Wesierska and Zbigniew Galor from the Civic Institute for Monitoring and Recommendation will go with a study visit to London. They will have the opportunity of seeing the work of the Centre and will take part in various meetings of London Partnership.

The last day of the International Conference of Street Newspapers
On the last day of the INSP conference ( 16th of June 2007) the delegates together with the editing team have managed to accomplish their 3 day work on the Anti-Poverty Declaration. Furthermore a presentation of SCVO has also been presented. The presentation concerned job adverts and the possibility of income they present to the street papers. The conference ended at 4pm and the organisers received a lot of applause.

 

The International Conference of Street Newspapers
The INSp team together with the Barka Foundation team continue their preparations for the Internationl Conference of Street Newspapers. The Euro Mi team has finished their study visit in London. The conference will be held on the 14-16th of June 2007. 70 delegats from all over the world have begun to arrive to Poznan. The aim of the conference is to create the INSP Antipoverty Declaration which would later on be presented to the UN Ministerial Meeting where the INSP representatives have been invited.

The EuroMI team comes back from London
The Euro Mi team has finished their study visit in London. Ewa Sadowska and Tomasz Sadowski are comming back to Poznan today. Ms Bernadette Cassidy who has rented her house in Hackney to the EuroMi project for a peppercorn rent  is also comming to Poznan. She is going to visit the Barka Foundation Holding and she will take part in the International Street Papers Conference organised in the seat of the Barka Foundation.

The on going study visit in London
The Barka Foundation representatives, the EuroMi representatives together with the participants of the "12 Disciples Programme" begun their study visit in London on the 2nd of June. So far they have already met with the Hammesmith and Fulham authorities as well as representatives of three other London boroughs willing to support the Centre for Migrants Integration in London. It is hoped that the visit will also help found a similar Centre in Dublin
